Pursuit of literature today & book burning remembrance

Reading, music and creative contributions from students and international guests:

Commemoration of the book burning of the National Socialists has become a successful, overregional tradition in Wolfratshausen for many years. For the first time in 2022 the attention should also be given to authors who are currently being persecuted for political and/or religious reasons.

Students of our region present creative writers* with creative contributions, surprising guests from politics, religion and culture offer varied short readings. World music and an international buffet complement this unique event.

We expect writers* and artists* from Afghanistan, Belarus, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Turkey, Uganda and Ukraine to read or be presented live from their works.
